NEW YEAR’S DAY (BRR…)

January 2, 2015 By Kari Leave a Comment

Cold weather has finally hit Dallas and I am oh so happy about it! Not only do the colder months bring snuggles + hot chocolate, they bring scarves, boots, coats, and sweaters! I would prefer to dress for winter any day over dressing for summer… Anyone else with me here?
I wore this look to beat the freezing rain on New Year’s Day. Although it was quite unsuccessful, I felt cute frolicking in the downpour. Ha! I grabbed this Gap puffer vest a couple months ago and finally broke it in doing a little New Year’s Day shopping. Even though the crowds were a little out of control, I was able to snag a few great sale items!
Other than that, Braden and I had a cozy NYE in at the house catching up on some of our favorite shows. Although we didn’t go out, we had a much-needed relaxing night in together. How did you spend your New Year’s Eve?
I hope everyone has a warm and safe weekend – I’ll be in touch again soon!
