For the last 14 days, I’ve been living in Target’s new denim line and I can honestly say that I am so impressed! The quality and comfort exceeded my expectations, making me feel like I’m wearing designer denim.

High Rise Jegging: Okay, these are my favorite pair that I’ve tried so far. I usually always gravitate towards dark wash skinny jeans and these did not disappoint. If you’re more of a “mid-rise or low-rise” gal, don’t let the “high-rise” title scare you away! These jeggings hit me right below the bellybutton at the small of my waist which is extremely comfortable and feels super natural. Having a great pair of dark wash skinny jeans is a wardrobe staple since you can dress them up or down. I plan to style these with a great pair of gladiator sandals, summer wedges, or winter booties later on this year. One thing to note is that since I’m quite tall (5’10”), these hit me a little above the ankle, but it’s nothing that a little cuffing can’t fix! #innovative

Mid-Rise Skinny: The Mid-Rise Skinny is definitely a close second. This pair of denim felt like a second skin, the material used is super stretchy which allows for that perfect fit we’re all searching for. The color is a medium wash, which is flattering and easy to style. Skinny jeans are the fit that I am constantly reaching for in my closet and these will definitely get added to the routine. During the 14 day trial period, I reached for High Rise Jeggings and this pair most often due to their simplicity and comfort. For the price and quality, you can’t beat the Mid-Rise Skinny.

Boyfriend: Boyfriend jeans are all the rage this summer and for good reason! Their simple and effortless vibe is something we all want to accomplish, am I right? The distressed denim pairs easily with a simple tank our blouse for that “I just rolled out of bed” look. Though I am a big fan of this look, I unfortunately struggled with the distressed holes being so high on the thigh in this pair of denim. While these are definitely not work appropriate, they would be great for a warm summer night or a lunch date with friends. I would recommend sizing up when purchasing these jeans, the material does not stretch and you definitely don’t want to accidently rip an already existing hole!

High Rise Flare: Wearing flared denim is definitely new for me. Like I said previously, I normally tend to stick with my dark wash skinny jeans as a wardrobe staple. I stepped out of my comfort zone to test these light wash 70s-inspired retro jeans, and I was actually pleasantly surprised with the outcome. While I don’t see myself wearing this look on a day-to-day basis, it was exciting to switch up my wardrobe staples and play with a new aesthetic. Lucky for me, this pair of denim runs extremely long which allowed me to pair with a heeled shoe. So as a side note to any shorter gals out there, pay attention to the length if purchasing online!

All in all, Target’s new denim line is definitely one to try! Having previously never worn their jeans before, I am so excited to know that I can now grab a pair of high-quality and comfortable jeans at such a great price point!
