Hi, friends! As I was reflecting on this wonderful blogging experience, I realized I haven’t sat down and properly introduced myself to you (oops, only a year late…). Sure, you see my day-to-day life through my Instagram feed and Sophisticated Whimsy, but I felt like this was an absolutely necessary post to allow you guys get to know be a bit better!
One of my favorite bloggers, Kailee Fodge from A Dash of Koko, inspired me to create this post after she wrote a few fun facts about herself. So, here we go…
- I just recently got engaged to the love of my life, Braden, in Napa, California and we are getting married next October!
- I grew up in Austin, TX and plan to move back as soon as possible.
- I drink at least 4 cups of coffee a day.
- I played competitive volleyball for 11 years growing up.
- I would choose the mountains over the beach.
- I’m slightly obsessed with my cat, Trigger, and I want to add an Bengal to the family (real) soon.
- I really want to learn calligraphy.
- I love traveling and everything that comes along with it; specifically airports and airplanes.
- My dream destination is Switzerland. #honeymoon2016
- I’ve only had one speeding ticket when I was 16 (knock on wood).
- My all-time favorite movie is Hope Floats.
- You could definitely consider me a night-owl.
- My favorite color is white and my favorite flower is a Tulip.
- Having a color coordinated closet is my jam and always has been.
- My ultimate T.V. crush is President Fitzgerald Grant from Scandal. #heartthrob
- I prefer a quiet night in over a wild night out.
- My favorite food is sushi.
- I suffered from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder as a kiddo.
- I have an older sister named Kelsi and we are three years apart. While we look very similar, we have very different personalities.
- I usually drink at least 150 ounces of water a day and am a vitamin feen.
- I never ever sleep in my makeup.
- I broke my hand freshman year of high school by karate-chopping my sister’s shin.
- My house is set at 68º year round.
- I deep clean and organize when I feel stressed or overwhelmed.
- I wish I had Lily Collin’s eyebrows.
Phew! That was fun. Do you feel like you know me a little better now? Hopefully so!
