JORD WOOD WATCH + GIVEAWAY!

Happy Saturday, everyone! I’m back from vacation and feeling so refreshed and recharged! Charleston, SC is such a magical place that I would recommend to anyone looking for down-time and delicious food (seriously, their shrimp + grits are to die for!). 

I wore this casual outfit for a dinner date this week and I was so excited to break out my new bright, summery lip because it paired so effortlessly with my simple black tee. I’ve recently been a total minimalist and focusing on purchasing basics that can be re-worn and layered easily. Maybe I’m just subconsciously starting to plan for our European honeymoon in October? Who knows.

Typically during the warmer months I try and keep things a tad bit lighter and simpler, as I’m sure we all probably do. (Especially my #Texas babes!)

With that being said, my new JORD Wood Watch was the perfect, simple accessory to add to my basic outfit because it added the right amount of texture without taking away from the overall simplicity. And to be completely honest, I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing a watch. I’m that crazy person who thinks a watch can make your arm look really amazing or really short and stubby. When searching for a watch, I typically always gravitate toward larger-faced watches with a thinner band, so when I stumbled upon the JORD Frankie series it was a definite win-win situation for me. And can we talk about the hand-crafted Zebrawood? So unique and eye-catching! Don’t ya agree? #love
