The holidays are here and they’re in full swing, ladies and gents! Whether you’re ready or not, Thanksgiving is only a week away and immediately after the Christmas parties and celebrations begin. ?

No, but really… Where did 2016 go??

Choosing the perfect holiday outfit can sometimes be overwhelming. Depending on the type of party and dress code, options are endless. Whenever in doubt, I typically gravitate towards a solid color and mix up my accessories. This tip always seems to work because who can hate a LBD (or little red dress in this case…)? Plus, it works no matter the formality of the event!

I immediately was drawn to this red ruffle dress because of its versatility and vibrant color – it’s so perfect for the holiday season  and I love any excuse to throw on a red lip! Since it is a simple shift dress, I wanted to add a little something extra to the look so I threw on the plaid scarf and over the knee boots. That’s the great thing about simple pieces, you can easily dress them up or down in no time! I think this look would be perfect for a get together with your girlfriends or for a casual holiday party.

And can we talk about these Kendra Scott earrings?! #swoon
