Okay, real talk ladies! Being a bridesmaid is tough work and the title comes with numerous responsibilities – think about the time commitment that goes into it, the travel accommodations, the bridal shower planning, bachelorette festivities, etc… Plus, they’re constantly lending a helping hand to support the bride in whatever way possible, which is a task within itself.
After taking a step back and realizing how much effort each bridesmaid puts into the wedding, I wanted to ensure I returned the favor with a little spoiling here and there.
One of my favorite ways to make my 6 bridesmaids feel special was to create a custom goodie bag for them to open on the day of the wedding. I of course included the typical bridesmaid gifts along with a few of my favorite things (feeling like Oprah over here) – I included a monogrammed robe for them to get ready in, a personalized necklace, my favorite skincare products, a lip color and the most comfortable dancing shoes so they could ditch the heels after photos!
I was so excited to partner with Talaria Flats for my wedding day to ensure everyone was comfortable enough to let loose and enjoy the reception. I definitely had high intentions to keep my heels on all night, but once 10:00pm rolled around, I traded my perfect wedding shoes for my perfect White Talaria Ballet Flats. Besides marrying my best friend, it perhaps was one of the best decisions I made all night. #notexaggerating
I personally always love to have a change of shoes with me wherever I go. Whether I’m traveling or spending the day shopping, I think it’s always a wise decision to have a backup pair you can easily throw on. Because we all know that nothing is worse than uncomfortable shoes and having no end in sight of your day. In this case, it’s always better to be safe than sorry!
The thing I love most about Talaria Flats is that they’re foldable and super compact so they won’t take up much room in your bag. They also come with an adorable dust bag so the bottom of your shoes never touch anything in your bag.
If you’re interested in trying a pair for yourself, be sure to go up a half-size! So if you typically wear a 7.5, grab an 8.
