Spring is such a happy time of year. Not only because flowers are blooming and birds are chirpin’, but also because it’s that time of year to clean out your closet, home and mind!
If you’ve been around for a while, then you know that I’m a firm believer in simplicity — especially in the home. A cluttered home equals a cluttered mind. Ever since we purchased our new house in January, I’ve been in the decorating spirit and found that my typical décor style starts with a simple investment piece, like a neutral couch or ottoman, and I spice it up with accent pillows or curtains. That way, whenever I’m looking for a change in décor or color, it’s an easy swap.
With spring here in full force, it’s now the perfect time to refresh your living space! I love accent chairs! I actually have two pink chairs in my living room (I call my apartment the #pinkchairpalace) and they’re so fun and they totally brighten up the space. I’ve actually been thinking that next time I move, I’ll stick them in my office and get a fun, colorful couch for the living room instead!
