FRIDAY FAVORITES

Happy Friday, friends!! I’ve had a little bit of an abnormal week — from work deadlines to last minute travels — it’s certainly been a whirlwind. The good news is Braden and  I have an open weekend to sit back and enjoy each other’s company and knock a few things off of our to-do list. And boy oh boy, am I excited about that!

Here are a few of my Friday Favorites — enjoy!

1. Embellished Booties 

If you saw my Instagram here, then you know exactly what I’m talking about! I think we’ll be seeing this trend all throughout the fall and winter months. Embellished booties are not only so stinking precious, but they’re a super simple way to take your outfit from drab to fab in no time!

2. Shiseido Ultimate Power Infusing Concentrate

I’ve recently added this to my skincare routine and it is quickly becoming a holy grail product. It’s a boosting pre-treatment that helps defend against aging and damage while enhancing the effects of the skincare products that are used after application. I apply a dime size amount to my skin 1-2 minutes before applying my moisturizer and it seems to help the moisturizer sink into my skin quicker and work more efficiently. I’ve noticed that my skin feels and looks firmer and has a subtle glow to it even when I’m not wearing makeup. Yes, please!

3. Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer

Blurs fine lines and pores, hydrates and brightens and leaves skin luminous before makeup application. Need I say more?

4. Ray-Ban Dupes

You know when you find a really great dupe for a designer item and then ponder on how crazy high markups on clothing and accessories truly are? Well, all of these thoughts crossed my mind when I originally wanted the Round Metal Ray-Ban’s but found this identical pair for only $14! For only a fraction of the price, they’re exactly what I wanted and now I have some additional spending money to use elsewhere. ?

5. Orange Theory Fitness

Who would’ve thought a workout class would be listed on my Friday Favorites? I’ve been taking OTF classes for a little over six months now and I can say with certainty that I am feeling better than ever. I am noticeably stronger and am starting to see visible results which is always so exciting! Orange Theory is heart rate based interval training and has been named “the best one-hour workout in the country”. You spend your time on the treadmill, the rowing machine and in the weight room — but no class is ever the same which is so nice. It’s the first workout that I’ve grown to love and plan to stick to! Your first class is always free if you’re wanting to give it a try!
