One of the things I enjoy most about being a beauty influencer is not only testing out new products but it’s being able to meet and create new relationships with other beauty obsessed people!
I did just that this weekend when I was invited to the Bealls Beauty Bar for a consultation with one of their beauty advisors. Right as I walked through the doors, I was immediately greeted by Linen who was my Beauty Bar advisor (and so stinking sweet) and was guided around the store to see all of the brands and products they have to offer. I was excited to see they had brands like Estée Lauder and Clinique, but also more affordable options like NYX, The Balm, and Real Techniques!
Typically, you can request a skin consultation or complimentary makeover, but since I came with a full face of makeup on, Linen walked me through her favorite skin and beauty products and touched up my makeup with a new highlighter and lipstick. We chatted about the must-have products of the season and learned about each other’s application tips and tricks.
I love that everyone has such different techniques when it comes to skincare and makeup because that means there is always an opportunity to learn something new and get creative in your day-to-day routine. And after all, that’s the great thing about beauty—there are no rules!
