For those of you who constantly have a case of wanderlust, listen up! I’m sharing all of my secrets to scoring cheap international flights on reputable airlines down below. As an example, this summer we flew roundtrip to Rome, Italy in Delta Comfort+ for $574.46 each. Normal roundtrip tickets to Rome can cost upwards of $1,500+!
So now you’re probably wondering how we snagged such cheap flights on such a great airline, with upgraded seating. The answer is Scott’s Cheap Flights.
Scott’s Cheap Flights is a subscription-based website that has flight experts searching 24/7 to find international flights that are up to 90% off normal ticket prices. At first I was skeptical, but after researching the company, looking at reviews, and using their services, I can confidently recommend it and I highly encourage travelers to look into their flight destination here before purchasing elsewhere.
I am subscribed to the free emails, but they a have paid subscription option where you receive exclusive member deals and destinations on top of the free emails. I typically only receive 3-5 emails a week from them, so it’s not something that will bombard your inbox either. There are tons of Europe deals, and on occasion, you’ll see flights to places like Asia, Australia, Fiji, Canada, etc.!
Since the flights they send out are so discounted, they don’t last for very long. In your email, they will estimate how long the fairs will be available at that price and on which airline. They typically last anywhere from a few hours to 72 hours, so you have to be prompt if you want that price.
My tip to navigating Scott’s Cheap Flights is to have your destination in mind along with available dates you want to travel. There have been many times where Braden and I are about to book, but we go back and forth on timing, etc. and miss the deal. So once you see the email come through with your preferred destination, hop on your computer with your passport in hand, and book them immediately!
Example email to Tokyo:
*Picked this example solely for length purposes. Normally there are more departing cities listed on the left (especially when traveling to Europe!)
Once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty simple, but please feel free to reach out if you have any questions and be sure to let me know if you snag a flight somewhere. Thanks for stopping by!

When did you purchase the tickets? I’m currently looking for a cheap flight to Rome for June and haven’t been able to find any so far, so I would be very interested to know in what month to keep an eye out. Thanks!!

We purchased our tickets 9 months in advance for our Italy trip that we took last summer. But I’ve been seeing tons of Europe deals for this summer, so definitely take a look at Scott’s Cheap Flights if you haven’t already. Just be ready to pull the trigger once you see it hit your inbox! Good luck. xo
