It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a blog post, life’s been full in the best way, and sitting down to write has taken a backseat. But with spring in full bloom and summer around the corner, it felt like the right time to sit down and catch up.
So, hello! I’ve missed you and this space.
🍼 A SWEET NEW CHAPTER
In case you missed it…WE’RE PREGANT! Baby Boy Bliss is due this fall, and it’s been such an exciting, surreal, joy-filled season for our little family. We officially shared the news while in Paris, and it made the trip feel even more special.
We’re currently deep in the trenches of baby prep with curating our registry, stalking nursery inspo, and trying to make sense of alllll the gear. Also: baby names.
✈️ RECENT TRAVELS
We wrapped up 2023 with a trip to London and the Cotswolds in December — cozy pubs, freezing walks, and some of the dreamiest holiday and winter scenery I’ve ever seen. We spent our days wandering villages, sipping warm beverages, and pretending we lived in The Holiday full-time.
Then this spring, we snuck away to Paris. From morning pastries to golden hour walks along the Seine, the city absolutely delivered. I’ll be sharing full travel recaps from all three spots soon, but for now, just know I’m still mentally sitting at a café with a croissant and a café crème in hand enjoying the slower pace of life.
🏡 NESTING MODE ACTIVATED
I’m leaning hard into the homebody energy; clearing closets, making Pinterest boards for the nursery, and pretending I understand the difference between 47 stroller brands.
It’s been fun to create space for what’s coming next. It makes everything feel a little more real!
📚 WHAT I’VE BEEN READING
Books have been my go-to downtime lately, especially as I ease into a slower pace. I’ve been pretty consistent with my Goodreads goal this year and it’s been nice to have something to chip away at that isn’t screen-related.

☀️ LOOKING AHEAD
Summer’s shaping up to be a mix of quiet weekends at home and a few small domestic getaways — the kind that don’t require passports, just a packed car, good snacks, and the girlie pops (dogs). We’re sneaking in little trips while we can, knowing life is about to shift in a big way this fall.
It feels like a season of building — both practically and emotionally — for what’s ahead. And I’m really leaning into and excited for that.
