HOW I CURL & PROTECT MY HAIR

You know the brands that you’ve been using for as long as you can remember, like literally forever? For me, that’s TRESemmé. I remember buying my first hairspray by TRESemmé in middle school and to this day, I still consistently purchase it and use it on a daily basis. So needless to say, I am so excited to be teaming us with TRESemmé today to share how I curl and protect my hair!

I love using products that have a specific purpose, and these products do just that. As much as we all want beautiful curls, it’s just as important to ensure you are using the right heat protectant to keep your hair healthy and long. It’s such a vital step that people often forget about.

Below are the steps I take to create messy and tousled curls for my everyday look:

1. Apply the TRESemmé Thermal Accelerator Spray to towel-dried hair

2. Next, apply a dime size amount of the TRESemmé Blow Dry Balm

3. Use the TRESemmé Ultra Power Hair Dryer to ensure all hair is dry

4. Curl using a wand or curling iron

5. Fluff up hair and voila! you’re done! 

OPTIONAL: If your hair is naturally more wavy or curly – be sure to check out the new TRESemmé flat iron to get an even more sleek look. Also in a pinch a flat iron can be a quick solution to get those beautiful loose curls.

Pretty simple, right? I typically curl my hair twice and week and on the in-between days, I am able to just do small touchups, typically around the face, add a little hairspray and be on my way!
