After graduating in May of 2013, the job searches were endless. Phone interview after phone interview, I felt like I was going down a dead end road. Discouragement was a very well-known emotion for a couple of weeks. I would leave an interview feeling so great and soon after I would get the dreaded “unfortunately, we have found a candidate that better fits this position, better luck in your future endeavors…”
BLAH BLAH BLAH
…Three months later I luckily found a fabulous job doing something that came so natural to me, social media. I work full-time being a Social Media Coordinator at a very well-known company. I thoroughly enjoy my job, but I am somehow looking for something better. Better? I always question what that even means? Hell, I don’t even know what it means.
I think I am just soul searching to find my passion in this world. I have so many things that greatly interest me, I am just trying to figure out how to make that passion a full-time career. After seeing this quote on Pinterest, it sparked something in my head. It sparked something that will not leave me alone. What was I put on this world to do? How can I find a job that I am extremely passionate about? Where is this “grown-up handbook” when I need it?…
